Description

Heat presses are like automated clothing irons that you can use to adhere or transfer designs onto fabric and other materials. They can be set to a specific temperature, time, and pressure. Use a heat press with sublimation, Cricut heat transfer vinyl, LaserJet iron-on transfers, and more!

The following heat presses are available in the Makery:

  • Heat Press Nation Swing Away Heat Press — 15″ x 15″
  • Heat Press Nation Clamshell Heat Press — 16″ x 24″
    • Large-scale items only
    • Preheat time = up to 60 minutes.
  • Heat Press Nation Mug Press
    • 11 oz. & 15 oz. mug attachment
    • 20 oz. skinny tumbler attachment
  • Mophorn Hat Press
  • Cricut EasyPress
  • Cricut EasyPress Mini

  1. Teflon sheets
  2. Butcher paper
  3. Heat resistant tape

You Must Bring

  1. A sublimation blank, base material or substrate (i.e. something to heat press onto)
    • Shirts, mugs, hats, tote bags, etc.
    • Some substrates are available for purchase in the Makery. See the Makery Price List.
  2. A design to put on your substrate. You can make your design in the Makery using:
    • Sublimation
    • Cricut — heat transfer vinyl
    • LaserJet iron-on transfer paper
    • Circut Infusible Ink
