York High School Summer Reading 2020
This page has the letter from the English Department Chair and the York Librarian regarding expectations for summer reading. On the left side of this page are the lists for each grade level.
The Library has copies of the York Summer Reading books in multiple formats.
Print books – We currently have most of the titles in print format. There are more titles and copies on order that should be available in the next few weeks.
eBooks and eAudiobooks – Most of the titles are available in these formats.
Physical audiobook formats – Books on CD and Playaways – Some titles are available in these formats.

Each service has an app that can be used on mobile devices. Digital Library of Illinois uses the “Libby” app.
Cloud Library – The available titles on this service are listed on “shelves” for each grade level. Scroll down the page to see them. A valid EPL card is required for eBooks and eAudiobooks.
If you do not have an Elmhurst Public Library card, you may check out a digital copy from Sora, which can be found on the York Learning Commons web page by clicking on “Books” on the right side of the page, under the green “Learning Commons” heading.
