Place a Hold

1. Go to the Catalog.
2. Log in according to the directions in Checking Your Account (above)
3. Once you’ve found the book you want to place a hold on, simple look for the “checkmark” graphic and click the [Place a Hold] link next to it.
4. In the popup screen, select where you would like to pick the item up (Lobby or Drive Up) and indicate if you need it by a certain date. Click [Submit] when finished.
5. We will notify you once the item is ready for pickup.

Hint: If the item is on shelf, call us (630-279-8696) and we’ll have it waiting at the Checkout Desk or Drive Up (whichever your preference) in an hour. (During hours the Library is open)
