Student Film Fest 2016

Are you an aspiring filmmaker just waiting to be discovered? Are you in grades 3-12? Enter your original movie for the Student Film Fest! If chosen, your movie debuts on August 26 alongside films dreamed up by other local filmmakers. Walk the red carpet in your finest formalwear, enjoy popcorn and sparkling juice, revel in the accolades of your adoring public, and if you’re lucky, you might win a highly-coveted “Elmie!”

Not sure how to make a movie, need to learn how to use the Creative Studio, or want to improve your skills? We’re offering classes this summer to help you get started!

To Submit Your Completed Film:

  • Entry Period: Now through Aug. 6
  • For: Kids entering grades 3-12 who live in Elmhurst
  • Length: 10-minutes or under (over will not be accepted)
  • Format: MPEG or MP4 on a flash/hard drive
  • How to Apply: Turn in your flash/hard drive to the 2nd Floor Info Desk

 

We reserve the right to not screen a film based on content or duration.
