Regular patrons and friends Mary Grace and Ruth know the benefit of attending EPL programs—they met in 2012 at an Elmhurst Art Museum book discussion and have been enriching their lives with innovative Library programming ever since. Mary Grace says she “used to read only mystery and historical fiction books.” Now she attends book discussions where the selected titles “could be books that I don’t typically read, but because they are Book Discussion books, I give them a try. I’m reading a lot of nonfiction now, too.” She enjoys the Summer Reading Program and attending Trading Titles programs where Mary Grace and Ruth receive many ideas for future reads.
