Common Connection

The Common Connection is a series of programs using film, discussion, and critical thinking to identify topics that influence the world today — no matter who we are. Despite societal shifts and changing values, the thread that connects all of us to our humanity remains strong. Coming together at the Library to learn and discuss these complex issues is the first step towards forging a deeper understanding of the world around us and the unique individuals that comprise our community.

This spring, the topic we’ll explore is the environment. Focusing on our Environment reminds us how we impact our world. Learn more about climate change and explore modifications you can make in your own home. Environmental change can be exciting, providing new opportunities for creativity and collaboration.  Meet others who share your goals and discuss how you can create the change to save our planet. EPL offers three avenues of learning: Education, Discussion, and Action.
