About Study Rooms @ EPL

There are twelve study rooms on the 2nd floor in Adult Services that can be reserved up to 7 days ahead with your Elmhurst Public Library card. The rooms have a table and chairs to accommodate between 4 and 8 people. Room 10 is the only one that accommodates eight people. White boards, screens with HDMI inputs and/or push-pin boards can be found in many of the rooms.

There is one study room in the Kids’ Library (first floor) with one table and chairs to accommodate up to four to six people.

At least one user of a study room must have an Elmhurst Public Library card. (Study Room Policy)

Rules

    • One-hour reservations
    • Maximum of one upcoming reservation per week
    • Up to seven days ahead
    • Reservations are held for 15 minutes after start time
    • Maximum of six people in each group study room

 

  • .5, 1, 1.5 or 2-hour reservations
  • Maximum of 2 upcoming reservations up to 7 days ahead
  • Reservations are held for 15 minutes after start time
  • You will need an email address to make a reservation
  • Study room capacity is limited to between 1 and 8 people depending on the size of the room.  Only 1 of the rooms accommodates 8 people.
