The Library is embarking upon a renovation of the patio located on the south side of the building, next to Wilder Park. The renovated patio will offer patrons a vibrant, multi-use outdoor space designed to engage visitors of all ages. For kids, the area features activity stations, sensory play stations, a storywalk, and a play hut to spark creativity and learning. Meanwhile, adults can enjoy a relaxed seating area with shaded tables, lounge furniture, and free Wi-Fi —perfect for reading, working, or simply unwinding. This thoughtfully designed space will foster community connection and supports lifelong learning in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
*Thanks in part to a generous $50,000 donation from a patron, the Library is able to reimagine these patios to provide patrons with outdoor spaces at the Library.
