Kids’ Summer Reading

How to participate:

1. Mark a leaf on the reading log for each day that you read or listen.
2. After every 10 days of reading, bring your log to the Kids’ Library to earn a prize.
   Prize pickup begins May 28.
3. After 40 days of reading, you’ve completed the program! Come to the Kids’ Library to receive your final prize. Want to keep reading? We hope so! Ask us how at the Kids’ Help Desk.
   The Summer Reading Program ends July 31.

Some things to note:

Read for as long as you like! Your days do not have to be in a row. All kinds of reading and listening count!

Each child is allowed one reading log for the summer.

Prizes are available to children from birth through Grade 8.

Prize entry winners will be contacted after August 1.

Media Match Jr., EPL’s recommendation service for the youngest members of our community, is another great place to go! Start by filling out our kids form which asks additional questions to make sure we can make the best possible suggestions for children.
