Explore the concepts of STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math) throughout the building with hands-on experiments, creative projects, explosive demonstrations, and an exciting new Library collection.
What is X-Stream Fest? Part science fair, part maker fair, part museum, attendees can expect to get hands-on with each of the six STREAM disciplines.
What makes Elmhurst Public Library a perfect place for STREAM exploration? Our expansive programming includes technology classes for all ages and educational (and fun!) programs to get kids interested in all areas of science and math. New spaces like the Creative Studio and the Makery are non-traditional ways for the Library to promote technology, art, and engineering—but don’t forget about books! Reading has always been our area of expertise.
Science is amazing in these thrill-packed shows full of chemistry, physics, engineering, and experiments that both educate and entertain the entire family.
