Hoopla

What is it?

Hoopla is a service that offers access to thousands of popular streaming movies and television shows, music albums, and audiobooks with no waiting lists.

First-time users

  • Go to Hoopla
  • In upper right corner, select Sign Up
  • You will be prompted to create an account after entering your library card number and PIN

* Forget your pin? Request information here.

  • Widevine Media Optimizer, a free add-on for your web browser, is needed to watch or listen to Hoopla titles. You will be prompted to install it the first time you try to stream a title on your computer.
  • Go to the top of the screen and either Search or Browse for titles

Returning users:

  • Go to Hoopla
  • Sign In with your account information (email and password)

InstantFlix

What is it?

InstantFlix is a web streaming movie service that offers thousands of award-winning shorts, feature films, and documentaries by independent filmmakers. Founded by filmmakers, IndieFlix curates the best from film festivals worldwide.

First time users:

  • Go to InstantFlix
  • In upper right corner, select Create New Account

*  Only one account may be set up per library card and email address

  • Click the Browse Films button

Returning users:

  • Go to InstantFlixLogin and Browse Films. The left side of the screen shows searching and browsing options.

* Zinio Users: use your Zinio email and password to login to IndieFlix.

What is it?

First time users and Returning Users:

  • Go to MyMediaMall

What is it?

The Alexander Street Press PBS Video Collection offers access to over 400 videos with no waiting lists. Transcripts are available for all videos.

First-time users

  • Go to PBS Video Collection and login
  • In upper right corner, select Sign in to save playlists / clips
  • Select Create an Account
  • Go to the top of the screen and either Search or Browse the subject tabs for titles

Returning users:

  • Go to PBS Video Collection and login
  • In upper right corner, select Sign in to save playlists / clips and Login
